**Cryptoderk** I think that this is the _only_ time I have ever commented on the quality or the “worthiness” of a pitting but this one is so directionless !? Geez, I thought the BBQ Pit was for something that _seriously_ stirs up anger. (Serial killers, banks foreclosing on elderly widows, getting arrested for tearing a tag off of a mattress, etc). I mean you have linked to a thread which is roughly about the size of New Jersey. No thread summary and no lengthy, substantial posting about just how steamed you are. Where’s the Smilie Face of Anger™ ? :mad: Heck, even if a Pitting is about a trivial matter (paying too much for a muffler, latest winner of “American Idol”) the thread title and/or content alert me of its nature. If you are going to Pit someone or something could you please do a little work? A thread summary would be a nice, polite timesaver. I think we SDMB folk like to do that extra something to help out the folks who will have to read a posting. I’m sorry if I sound so derisive but I thought this was a matter had to be addressed. Nah - maybe I’m just an asshole. I guess I’m doing what hajario was warning against. Increasing the lameness quotient of this thread. Oops - I think “they” want me to take my medication again. ---
