Brynda, my eyes are brimming with tears for someone I’ve never met, but have so much in common with. I’ve been reading the threads of how you and Rick met and fell in love and dammit it’s just not fair sometimes. My heart aches for you. ---

Oh Brynda. Words just fail me. I can’t believe it. I thought the world of Rick, and you two were so wonderful to be around! I am sorry I’ve been away from the Dope and hadn’t seen the original post about it. Cancer is a cruel, awful disease. We haven’t been in touch in some time. I’m so sorry, Brynda, there are no words for this sadness. But, I can see this; Rick had a great love at the end of his life. If this was what would come for him anyway, how lucky he was to have your love, and to be truly adored, knowing that at his last breath. I hope that came out right. Take care, hon, and grieve as you should.You have a lot of good people who understand the love between you and Rick, who will support you in need. ---
