Sorry for your loss - the world is better for having people like you in it - and while it isn’t much comfort - it sounds like you gave him a wonderful life and I’m glad you have those happy memories and photos - they will last forever [well from your perspective anyway 🙂] ---

Deepest sympathies. It sounds like he had a very good life with you and a good death as well, and that’s not such a bad thing in the end. Our kitty overlords are in our lives for far too short a time. ---

What a beautiful kitty, and my condolences to both you and sleestak (and everyone else who has lost a pet). Just two days ago I had to have our kitty [Sydney](http://www.rci.rutgers.edu/~lreed/Sydney.jpg) put down. Although I have come to peace with it, my 95 year old mother is having a very hard time. ☹ ---
