For the last week or so, I’ve gotten SDMB emails which include links like

[Error during processing.](https://nam03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fboards.straightdope.com%2Fsdmb%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D838813%26goto%3Dnewpost&) …

instead of a more straightforward link. Is this a new board issue or something I need to adjust in my own email system?

It sounds like you’re using the MS Office 365 feature “[Advanced Threat Protection](https://support.office.com/en-us/article/ATP-safe-links-in-Office-365-dd6a1fef-ec4a-4cf4-a25a-bb591c5811e3).” It rewrites all the links in your emails to go through a scan on MS servers before directing you to the site. Links to specified sites can be set not to be rewritten if you’d prefer it didn’t do that.

Thanks. I’m trying to figure out how to adjust my settings now, so this thread can be closed.
