BLTs for dindin tonight since it’s hawt out and I forgot to get the cubed steak I was gonna cook out of the freezer until a few minutes ago. :smack: Oh well, tomorrow night’s dindin shall be cubed steak, green beans, smashed **N.O.T.** and squish. That’s the happenin’ from swampland. ---

Home on time - and I emptied the dishwasher - go me! Daughter and nephew went to Luray Caverns today, but I have no idea when they’ll be back. So supper will be whatever, whenever. Yay, **picu**!!! Keep us informed, please! I know there was more I wanted to say, but my brain is now mush. Maybe I’ll remember later. Maybe not. We shall see. It’s been a while since I’ve grumbled about it, but it’s forecast time again. I thought it was going really well this time. I shouldn’t have thought that out loud. It’s sucking right now. Blah. I brought chocolate pecan pie in to work for a coworker’s birthday. It was very nummy and disappeared very quickly. Pie doesn’t go as far as cake. But it’s good! Tonight’s our annual homeowners’ association meeting. Yippee. I’m kinda hoping I’m stuck late at work tonight! Last year’s big controversy was over whether we should be allowed to have screen doors. (We’re not.) This year it looks like the issue is going to be whether to get all of our fences replaced. (These are townhouses with small patios in front and the fences surround the patios.) They were cheap to start with and now they’re ~15 years old and cheap and many of them are leaning more than a little. But it’s going to cost $$ to get them replaced and everyone would have to pony that up, which I’m guessing most people won’t want to. Even though they’re almost falling over. So that’ll be fun. KT’s on the board so I may just let him go represent our household. Especially if I have the excuse of “needing” to work late. 😛 ---

**taxi** you should go to the meeting and suggest the fences be replaced with chicken wire. Always a classic! OOH and pink flamingos in everyone’s front yard! ---

Well, we lost another fish today - the purple square anthias is now fish food - literally. His tankmates have been noshing on his carcass. No sentiment in this aquarium… I think it’s time for ice cream. ---

One step forward, two steps back. Hubby was sent home from work today because he had an “episode.” He was doing a confined space drill and became over heated. His heart rate when through the roof, he breathing sounded, according to his boss, like a freight train and he was sweating profusely. By the time they got him to medical he was fine. Now, he has to go through the whole fittness for duty gauntlet again. They couldn’t find anything wrong the first time. He has a new doctor, so maybe we’ll get some answers this time. Yes, I’m worried. He thinks I’m afraid he’ll lose his job, but I’m more afraid of losing him!☹ So, any good thoughts would be appreciated. ---
