Sailor is an annoying moron

I’m not sure if Liberal was responding to my post, but if he was I want to respond.

I don’t know who said you were annoying, but, yeah, you kind of are. I mean, really, there’s much to be at odds with besides sailor’s post. And now you’re picking a fight with Liberal, come on, calm down.

Let’s fight the real enemy… Rod Blagogovichich

I have a better idea. Instead of playing some sort of stupid baiting game, you just come right out and make your point.

If that was for me, I cannot even find wring’s post, never mind read it.

I meant for you to re-read my post so that you could see that I didn’t say or imply that she posted in this thread; only that she has the irritating habit of engaging in the same behavior. Just a name that came to mind, nothing more.

Oh, ok. Just a random innocent bystander that you decided to smear for free. I thought it was something pertinent to, well, the thread.

Hardly random or innocent as I’ve already clearly explained, but I’ll give you bystander. And it was entirely pertinent to my response to Kyla, even if not to the thread as a whole. If that’s a crime, well, then the whole internet is a ghetto.

Are you done with that high horse, yet? I’m sure there are others who need to use it, too.

Y’all need to try decaf.

No, no. In the linked thread, I could use some help understanding what requirements are on the US thanks to the various treaties. I’ve been operating off rule of thumb and civics class memories, and I’m not sure. (Law-talking-guy is a Simpsons quote. Not an insult.)

Basically, I’m kind of curious what it would take for the government to completely get out of delivering mail, and what kind of lawsuits might result, and so forth.

Ah, you have my apologies, then. It just seemed an odd request given the post you quoted. In any case, I’m no lawyer although I do have an interest in law as a general matter and you’ll occasionally find my posting in legal threads. Even then, Constitutional law is hardly my forte so I’m not the guy to ask, I’m afraid.

What, and screw up my mornings? I think not!

And this is why you’re on my FB friends list.

Fuck decaf, Sparky. A douple shot of espresso for everyone in this thread. On me.

As to the reputation = high school thing; is that really fair? A good reputation is really something that top scholars, intellectuals and professionals rely on right? It is a marker of ones character and not something to poo poo, even on the internet.

Furthermore, why do people act as if the internet is something to always play down, “It’s just the internet people, don’t take it seriously”. This has always seemed weird to me because my precious time is being given to ‘the internet’. I am discussing issues that I care about, enjoying banter with people that can make me laugh, and learning lots on this board. Why should one be embarrassed that they consider their reputation at a place where they spend their precious time? If people that you don’t respect don’t like you, here or in real life, who really cares. But when people whose ideas you like and respect actually respect you in return, that is a good thing, right?
