I think it’s wrong to have sex with breastfeeding women too. Most of the time you just end up knocking the baby out of the way.

I have told this story once before on the SDMB: I know someone who has actually, um, sorta fondled Ms. Hayek’s attributes. He was a media reporter for the NY Times at the time and was talking with Harvey Weinstein at a movie premier after-party. Salma came up and, seeing my friend talking with a big dog like Harvey and knowing that my friend worked for the Times, she endeavored to make an impression on him. So she asked him what he thought of the movie and then launched into her own thoughts, grasping his hand and _pulling it tightly into her bosom for a few minutes_. He has no clue what she said ;).
And he looks basically like a grey-haired Family Guy dad (Peter Griffin?), so there was no come-on involved - she was just workin’ with what she had in the hopes it would lead to favorable coverage in the Times down the road, bless her.

I just finished reading “In Defense of Food” by Michael Pollan. In it, he argues against processed food and calls infant formula, the first processed food. Every few years scientists find something they forgot to add. Breasts are the best.
Also, I have been listening to the song, “Dear Janet Jackson” by Richard Thompson. It is a song about her infamous wardrobe malfunction incident at the Super Bowl. The refrain:
_If you must shove your titties in sombody’s face
Shove them in a baby’s, shove them in a baby’s, shove them in a baby’s

But babies need them too
That’s what they’re there for

Who are we to ask the why or wherefore?_
I’ve always loved Salma’s breasts and now I love them more. Go Salma!

Welllllll, I’m just cynical enough to think that this might have as much to do with raising Salma’s profile and helping her movie career as it does with helping starving African kids.
But let me emphasize that, in principle, I’m in favor of anything that results in more people having access to her breasts.
