# Salsa version of Iron Man?

I heard this kick ass Salsa version of Black Sabbath’s Iron Man a few months ago on NPR. Anybody know who does it? I think it’s a compilation of Salsa covers.

I don’t think this particular song was done by the Cardigans, but that band does have a penchant for taking Black Sabbath songs and redoing them in other genres.

Couldn’t tell you, but I did hear a sitar version in an Indian restaurant last year…That was a moment of cognitive disconnect, I should say.

Might it be [The Lounge Brigade](http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&uid=UIDMISS70406150339360552&sql=A13rn28ol053a)? I couldn’t find any sound samples, but [allmusic.com](http://allmusic.com) describes that song as “driven by Cuban-style percussion”, so that might be it.

The Cardigans have indeed covered “Iron Man” – but it’s techno-pop, not even remotely salsa.
