# salt and sweaty activities

My blood pressure is too high. I read somewhere that this is because my body cannot get rid of salt efficiently enough. If sweat (perspiration) is salty then would sweaty activities like jogging help?

If so – it would be best to consult with your doctor about lowering your sodium intake, not trying to sweat it out.
