# Salt Lake City: Things to do there in 36 hours?

Sadly, true. There are (or were, at least, when I lived there) some decent restaurants, but they weren’t obvious.

They had an International Festival down in Lincoln Park once, and one feature was bagels.

“Yeah, sure,” I replied, well knowing the quality of SLC bagels.  
“No, you don’t understand,” I was told. “They airlifted these in from New York City” \*

I was immediately in line.

\*The exact opposite of the TV commercials for Pace picante sauce
