You can’t just have your own secret cell phone in jail or prison. Sure, SBF was only chatting with Tucker Carlson but the guy in the next cell could be downloading kiddie porn, running his gun-running empire remotely, or planning his helicopter prison escape. The same rules and punishments should apply to all. ---

Given how long his sentence runs, the man really needs to be trying to maximize his “good behaviour” cred, because it can literally mean YEARS of additional prison time if he keeps breaking rules. ---

Yeah, i have zero clue what the odds of a pardon are, but if this might have increased them, it was probably worth it. And also, that was a huge violation, and I’m not surprised it earned him a stint in solitary. ---
