Let me glom on to your rant: Proof that God doesn’t exist: Pat Robertson keeps spouting evil on national t.v. like Linda Blair projectile-vomiting buckets of green puke and he has yet to be vaporized by a divine thunderbolt. You’d think even a deist God would somehow have worked it into the natural law that anyone like Pat would self-immolate before it ever got this far. For two years this vicious little leprechaun has been praying for Supreme Court Justices to drop dead. Or - excuse me - he’s been praying for God to miraculously “change the Court” (can’t forget the thin veil). I’m only surprised that in this case he didn’t invoke the will of the almighty in calling for Chavez’s death. An oversight I can’t explain, except that perhaps his malformed and stunted conscience still whimpers in there somewhere. ---

He’s telling them to expect opposition. Pulling quotes out of context is one of Robertson’s tricks. CJ ---

I read this article in this morning’s Trib and was absolutely dumbfounded. I mean, people like Robertson and Falwell are supposed to at least give lip service to Christian values, right? But openly advocating the assassination of a foreign leader (democratically elected, mind you) exposes Robertson for the utter charlatan that he is. Surely some of his true believers have to be as offended by this statement as I am. Or am I being naive? ---

Y’all seem to forget that this is the pus bucket that prayed to God to divert a hurricane to wipe out a bunch of gay supporters. The dude’s brain and heart jumped ship a long time ago. A few years back I was watching his show (to scoff, mind you), and he was reading letters from fans. One young man wanted to know if it was OK to study martial arts. Pus Bucket’s response was (paraphrased), “You’re right, young man, martial arts have their roots in Buddhism, which is Satanism. By studying them, you are inviting Satan into your heart. If you really want to learn these things, learn them from a good Christian, like Chuck Norris.” ---

Robertson is an idiot, but none of you need me to tell you that.
