# Samuel Jackson in every movie during the 90s...

My mother recently claimed that Samuel Jackson was in practically every movie during the 90s. Can someone explain to me why she would make such a claim? ( I was young during that time - it’s also more fun to learn trivial facts from anecdotes than from Google).

I think it’s because he was in a lot of smaller roles before he got really famous. Coming to America, for example, he’s got a small role–not the 90s, granted. Or he’s also in Jurassic Park–not a huge role, but a decent sized one. He’s also got a small one in Goodfellas. And a huge one in Pulp Fiction.

According to IMDB, these are the movies that [Samuel Jackson](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000168/) was in in the 1990s (with his characters). This doesn’t include TV movies.
He was prolific, but not by any means in “every movie.” He did have major roles, however, in some very popular movies, such as Pulp Fiction, Jurassic Park I, and The Phantom Menace.
