Yay! At some point (soon) I’ll have to verify who is coming to the brunch and who isn’t. Esprix ---

Unfortunately, I’m officially out. I’ll be moving to Viet Nam on June 11. Boy, that doesn’t even sound plausible does it? However, it is true. Have fun everyone. You’ll love San Diego! ---

w00t? I have no idea what that means. I promise to send pictures though! I’m expecting some good ones from the Fest too, especially from brunch. Um, where should I send mine? ---

You can e-mail me, no worries. And “w00t” is l33t-sp34|\< for “WOOT!” 🙂 Esprix ---

“w00t!” Main Entry: w00t! Pronunciation: wüt (as in _loot_) Function: interjection Etymology: perhaps derived from “wahoo” (also an interjection expressing exuberance or enthusiasm) Date: sometime during the advent of on-line gaming The definition provided above made up entirely by “The\_Stranger”, accuracy not verifiable DANG it Esprix! got your post in first…oh well… ---

Leet-speak for woot, huh? Thanks Esprix. That cleared it right up. I’m going to miss you! Have fun at the Fest. I’ll send you my pictures from Saigon. Thanks to The\_Stranger. I got about the same info from a web search, with the addition that Woot was a character in the Oz books. I’m now “in the know”, but I’m sure the know will change sufficiently over the next two minutes that I’ll be out of it again. ---

**Greg** , what will you be doing in Viet Nam? For how long will you be there? Perhaps you could locate some local dopers there and have a SaigonFest? ---

I suppose it’s possible, but I haven’t run across any other members of the masses currently teeming in Viet Nam, and that’s something I would have noticed. I’m going to be a software architect for IBM in Viet Nam. For a long time, I’ve wanted to try living in Viet Nam, and also to get into software architecture, so it’s a good opportunity for me. I’m bummed about missing the DopeFest though! Remember to drink a toast to your missing man over in Nam. Woot. ---

Greg, when you find some good local restaurants…order some Bun Thap Cam, and tell me if how it tastes. I love Vietnamese food. ---

Funny, I was just going to resurrect this today, seeing as how it’s **THIS SATURDAY.** First things first: I NEED TO KNOW IF YOU’RE GOING TO BRUNCH OR NOT! Some people have said specifically, and I marked them off as such below. I _think_ I can change our reservation up to Saturday, but whatever our final number is we’ll be responsible for that cost - I’ll let you know what our deadline is. The list thus far: YES: **Edwardina Encinitas Esprix lightingtool MonkeyMensch phouka scout1222** (Saturday dinner & Sunday brunch) **Shayna Spiny Norman Tastycorn** (Saturday dinner) **The\_Stranger** (Saturday dinner) MAYBE: **Astroboy14 Astrogirl beckwall Mr. Beckwall Greg Charles Heloise HoldenCaulfield jkusters Johnny L.A. Mercutio SpaceGhostofArrakis thomasm White Lightning WillSantini** The schedule is: **Saturday, June 14** - Balboa Park ( **Shayna** , feel free to post your schedule for folks to meet up with you), dinner at 7:00 p.m. at Corvette Diner, and heaven knows where we’ll traipse off to afterwards. **Sunday, June 15** - “Sunday Gospel Brunch” at Lips at 11:00 a.m. ($15.50 per person), possible trip to Sea World or someplace else fun afterwards. Can’t wait. 🙂 Esprix ---

**thomasm** and I will commit tonight. At this point I’m guessing a definite “yes” for both Dinner and Brunch. JOhn.
