I got home okay. SeaDiver and Oldscratch are probably still out (at 11:35) partying up a storm with the guy in the cow outfit. Anyway, little rundown - it was a blast, as usual! Ugh, even typing the exclamation mark makes me feel exhausted. Attendees were as follows: Zenster Snooooopy Sassy Kyla (right, that’s me) Oldscratch Baglady & Obfus (with special buttons!) SeaDiver and a little later: jjtm/Troy McClure We saw very interesting people. Some were even clothed! Many were sporting very fashionable leather harness things. SeaDiver managed to resist buying chainmail undergarments. Snooooopy could not resist the lure of the lash. The beautiful transvestites posed for us. We ate (and drank) at four separate establishments. Aid was given to contribute to the delinquency of a minor (jjtm). We considered giving Doobieous’ email address to some of the many hot guys we saw, but decided against it. Pictures will be forthcoming, I am sure. ---

I’ll have to pipe up and apologize for being a bit of a grouch. Perhaps SeaDiver can pipe up and assure everybody I am not ALWAYS like that. I had no problem with the company of the other dopers, but I have to say that as an event the Folsom Street Fair kind of sucks (to be fair, I had been warned by a couple of friends in the leather community). I have no problem with the subject of the fair, but even if most people were have naked and in leather it was still just a giant crowd pushing and shoving to get to the next booth selling stuff nobody was buying. The ratio of “crowd” to “reasons for being in a crowd” was way out of balance. Oh well, if anyone wants to organize a dopefest for one of the City’s finer dungeons I’d be happy to go (same view, same booze, less crowd). Hopefully I didn’t come off to everybody as too big an asshole. ---

I did keep looking over at you, though, hoping to see some sign of enjoyment. I eventually decided that maybe you just don’t display your state of mind very much.
