Well, how many instances of BLM violence do I need? How many instances of violence by the KKK have occurred since BLM’s inception?

> Which is beyond their power to do. “Protestors” didn’t deny Trump anything last night. Trump ran away because his ego is incapable of dealing with the possibility that he isn’t loved by everyone.

(post shortened)

Several reporters had said the Chicago police had known for several days that the usual protest groups were planning to disrupt the Trump rally. They also mentioned that Chicago police had informed Trump of the protester situation after Trump had disembarked his plane. It was then Trump’s decision not to hold the rally that would probably have led to even more Democrat protester violence.

My question is, where was Obama’s former Chief of Staff and vulgarity, Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D)? What was his plan to protect his city from protesting Democrats? The city took the GOP’s money but didn’t think they had to provide security?

Which is not the point. Are you still denying these are radical leftists in the video? I don’t mean denying it as a debate point on here, but in your heart of hearts; are these radical leftists in the video? Im about out of honest intellectual patience.

That’s funny. [The Chicago police department seems to be completely unaware that they informed Trump of any such thing.](http://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/chicago-police-say-they-advise-canceling-trump-event)

We’ve yet to see evidence of _any_ “Democrat protestor violence”.

I have no means of discerning their political leanings. They could be “radical leftists”. They could be non-radical leftists. They could be stealth Trump agents provocateur. They could be some guys who happened to be wandering by and decided to troll the camera.

How would you rank the likelihood of those four possibilities?

> Well, there apparently was some chanting and sign-waving going on before the announcement. According to what I saw on TV, a spokesperson for Trump came to the podium and announced the postponement, protesters in the audience began chanting something along the lines that they had “stopped Trump” and scuffles began breaking out on the arena floor over the next ten-fifteen minutes, as the bulk of the crowd headed for the exits. Some private security was present when this began, but there wasn’t much evidence of police presence within the arena until about 15 minutes in.

Don’t want to make too much out of that whole “cause and effect” notion, since that hasn’t been entirely proven, but seems that if B followed A, then B cannot be said to have caused A. Wait, let me review that for a second. No, that’s about right…

Oh, I get it. Trump and his supporters think that chanting is a form of violence. If we accept that definition, then yes, there was a lot of violence committed by Sanders supporters, and those videos are proof of it.

Except that we would be stupid to accept that definition, because that’s not what anybody else means by the word “violence”.

_Trump cancelled the rally in Chicago due to what organizers said were safety concerns after protesters packed into the arena where it was to take place._

Several reporters from different media outlets said that police had been aware for several days that protesters were organizing attempts to disrupt the Trump rally.

The Chicago police did not tell Trump to cancel the rally. It does seem that the police were aware of the possibility of violence.

It’s the mayors job to prepare for, and prevent, violence from occurring within their city. This was a major event in Chicago, violence was possible, and da mayor (D) was nowhere to be seen.

One doesn’t have to be a “radical leftist” to oppose Trump. For all we know, they might have been radical Mitt Romney supporters.

OK, I acknowledge, unfortunately, a pro-Bernie Twitter account celebrated the shutdown of the Trump rally in Chicago. I don’t like that one bit.

In addition, somebody got through security at a rally in Dayton today and tried to rush the podium where Trump was speaking.

How many do you have? You made the claim – what incidents of violence were caused by BLM, and what incidents of violence were caused by the KKK, in a given period of time? If you don’t know, then that’s fine, and I’ll assume you’re just guessing.

I’ll also assume that you don’t really believe that BLM is worse than the KKK, which is what you implied, and only did so in a hyperbolic fashion.

Reread. I did not claim a number. I claimed that one number would be about 100 times the other. So if you want me to provide what I’m obligated to, you have to show me the number of incidents of violence committed by the KKK since the inception of the BLM movement.

It depends what you mean by worse. If you mean morally depraved and intellectually bankrupt, then we’re probably in agreement that the KKK is worse. MUCH worse. But that’s not what was being discussed. The violence caused by each group in recent times (since the inception of the BLM movement) was the issue. So, my point stands.

No, the efficiency does not lie with the data.

It simply reduces the level of confidence. But know one is going to sue you here. So using your best judgement, how would you rank the likelihood of the four possibilities you lasted.
