Saw it. She saluted a stop sign. Unless that wasn’t her car, which is possible but I’m thinking unlikely, YMMV. Its just that focusing on the legality of the thing misses the point, she didn’t deserve what happened to her whether she ran that stop sign or not, or whether she had ever in her life signaled a lane change. And the cherry atop the turd sundae is Texas courts tend to favor authority. Lean in that direction, certainly safe to say. ---

Baseball is much more difficult. I wish her family the best of luck, because she shouldn’t have been provoked into being arrested. But considering that I’ve seen more solid cases of police abuse go down with less of a fight, I don’t see it being successful. (Raises drink) Here’s to them, and here’s to hoping that Houston doesn’t riot if they fail. ---

Do you think they have a chance of proving that assertion in a court of law? Why haven’t they released the evidence from their independent autopsy that would prove it? ---

What happened to “no harm no foul”? They won’t stop you for speeding unless you’re 10mph over. Noone signals around here except me. I’m in a big confusing bad driver city. I don’t know even now if all lane changes must legally be signalled. Is this just Texas? He was not doing his job. Should’ve been out looking for crimes, and not wasting thousands or millions of Texas taxpayer , which the rest of the country will end up picking up. It's always that way with Red states. They suck up the , put up horrible skeevy politicians, talk about secession all the time, and never actually do it. ---

Generally you have to be seriously transgressing or a a complete bellend for the police to actually do anything as severe as give you a ticket. You make it sound like a para-military twilight zone, not community policing.
