I used to eat PB and Nutella sammies all the time when I was in uni. Horribly unhealthy but soooo tasty.

What’s the difference between preserves and jam?
I prefer strawberry preserves, myself.

Not huffy at all sir, just making a point… and there was nothing that said I shouldn’t… It’s true some things are better left unsaid, but I feel it added to the story, if you’re annoyed by it, just ignore that part and refer to the question at hand.
… And I definitely prefer strawberry jam over all others, but I cannot forget Fluff! I haven’t had it in years, and now it is definitely on my shopping list… : )
I’ve definitely enjoyed a lot of what I have read and feel I have some very new and exciting things to try, this should be fun!

I could have posted either of these. My fiancé eats them with grape jelly and I just look on with horror and shock. It had never really occurred to me that anyone ate grape jelly after about age 7. It’s like pulling out a Juicy-Juice box or getting all excited about a candy ring/necklace. Grape jelly = little kid food for people who haven’t yet figured out what tastes good.

I’ve had peanut butter with strawberry or apricot preserves, raspberry, blackberry or blueberry jam but never ever grape jelly, not since I was a kid. I think the strawberry goes the best but I liked the apricot too. I think orange marmalade might also work well but I haven’t tried it.

If I add jam to my peanut butter toast, it’s raspberry. If we don’t have any, then strawberry.
Never had grape jelly in my life. It strikes me as insipid.
I have to go have some pretty intense sex now.

I hate grape-flavored anything.
Candy.
Juice.
Kool-Aid.
And especially jelly / jam.
Grapes? Pretty tasty. Wine? Also delicious.
But “grape” anything - horrible. Something about reducing a grape to a flavor makes it disgusting.

this made me laugh so hard when I read it.
I shall forever equate PB&J’s with sex… except when making sandwiches for little kids, thats awkward.
The apricot jam was really good with the peanut butter, a very interesting and nice combination!🙂

I feel this way too sometimes, reminds me of cough syrup, though I am a fan of grape jelly, i just feel there are superior varieties of the jelly sort.

Raspberry Jam is my absolute favorite, but really only on bagels with cream cheese, Idk why… but the combination is just absolutely delicious!

Grape Jelly is the sort of thing you serve to little kids. What’s a grape lover to do?? Grape Jam of course! Works well before sex, after sex or during sex if you are so inclined.

Call me a PB&J snob, but I prefer apple-cinnamon jelly, or strawberry jelly (not jam, or preserves), and Peter Pan Crunchy peanut butter on Grant’s Farm Stone Ground Wheat bread.

Peter Pan is snobbish? I prefer to make mine with Krema Natural. Crunchy or smooth, depending on my mood. I prefer my nut butters made only from nuts.
