faux Banh Mi!! BanhMi is a vietnamese sandwhich that traditionally has pate, ham, pickled cucumber & carrot, plus some cilantro. Take a roll 2 slices of liverwurst 2 slices of ham Some sliced pickles, or if they have any other firm pickled veggies, you can use that. If the pickles are more soft, maybe some cabbage for crunch. Just a sprinkle. A few sprigs of cilantro or parsley or mint, if you can get it but don’t worry if you cant. Place on roll with the liverwurst first, then the ham, then the veggies, the fold over the ham to hold everything in. I just tried this myself and while I’m not going to put the local vietnamese place out of business it was a pretty good sandwich different from the usual. ---
