Roasted turkey breast, baked thin-sliced ham, several slices of crisp-fried bacon, Swiss cheese (two slices, please), spicy honey-mustard, on whole-wheat Sandwich Thins. Mmmmmm. Simple and delicious.

My own invention:
Poppy seed bagel, halved & toasted
Cream cheese
Crumbled bacon
Smoked salmon
Thinly sliced tomato
Thinly sliced red onion
Ground pepper
Dill
Spread the toasted bagel halves with cream cheese, layer each half with bacon chunks, smoked salmon, onion and tomato, in that order. Top with ground pepper and dill. Some people don’t like dill, so try thyme or basil.

If your market carries it, get some DeLusso sliced roast beef --it’s prime rib and they slice it really thin (it’s a Hormel product). Lay it on dill rye bread with sour cream sauce and alfalfa sprouts, and fresh cracked pepper.
