Santa can obviously deliver presents to everyone at the same time because as quantum physics shows us something can be in more than one place at the same time as long as it is not observed (the double slit experiment). The day the \* Cubs \* win the World Series, you can talk to me about miracles. The Marlins and Indians, bah child’s play. The Indians won in '48, I remember it well. They beat the Boston Braves. Marlins are getting close to miracle territory, but when it happens to the Cubs, I will sit up and take notice. ---

Huh, I had a letter on this theme published in _New Scientist_ back in the nineties… edit: Quantum Santa, that is. The World Series is so much reindeer poo to me. ---

Even the 2004 ALCS doesn’t quite reach it, although that was more improbable than the Marlins.
