A sleigh mounted deflector dish. What ? You thought it was magic ? There’s no such thing; it’s all salvaged alien technology.

Like Rudoph’s famous red nose; that’s an implanted cybernetically controlled version of a Martian heat ray, in case the Commies tried to shoot Santa down. Santa got the tech back when he defeated the Martian invasion.

You didn’t know that was him ? Come _on_; surely you didn’t think it coincidence that they all got sick at the same time ? That was Santa; the Martians were _really_ naughty, so he left them some plague in their stockings.
