Just wanted to say that I rarely visit The Dope these days, but I think about the Rugger family all the time. I imagine there are a lot of folks in the same boat. The updates are watched and appreciated! ---

I have permission from **SantosRuggersMom** to copy the following update from the FaceBook group. I know it’s been a while since the last update here. **Santo Rugger** has been in and out of hospitals through the summer. > [@SantosRuggersMom from Facebook](#): > > It looks like we have entered what can only be called Pat’s “Hospital season”. Things were so good for a while there. He’s ok but has pneumonia again. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers 🙂 I figured people here would want an update, even if it’s not the news we’d like. And the more people on Team Rugger the better. ---

I just reviewed this thread a couple of weeks ago; I now have another friend who was in a motorcycle accident (he lost control and was thrown from his bike into a curb) and was internally decapitated (his spinal cord was severed from his brain stem). Like **Santo** he has a lot of support and a lot of well-wishers. We never stop thinking of y’all **RuggerFamily**.
