She spoke from notes for 90 minutes. She was reported to have gotten 300K for the appearance. That is a lot of money. ---

Weren’t the Dixie Chicks also at a private event? They were in concert as far as I know, not performing a public service. Was them saying ‘we are ashamed the president is from Texas’ recorded by the press? I thought it was brought to our attention by eyewitness’s just as Palin’s remarks. ---

Ok, the AP wires saw nothing and neither did the New York Times. What about the foreign press? We all know that conservatives are full of shit --sorry “Too clever by half”-- but I’m seeing emerging evidence that the more serious conservative pundits are weasels as well. I wasn’t aware of that. ---
