Sheesh. Why even bother bringing her out for Weekend Update at all? I think Amy could have handled that rap just fine without Palin sitting in the chair bouncing along to the music. ---

I can see why he was mad. That wasn’t funny. Yeah, she has rhythm. But I don’t think she was having fun. Her smile (which was strained) didn’t reach her eyes. ---

Yes, it was lame that she didn’t do the rap (and barely said anything in the cold open either), but the rap itself was funny. It had Andy Samberg written all over it.
