She revealed that she knows nothing about Canadian politics. Canadians love that. You say most conservatives would share Palin’s opinion - most *Canadian *conservatives would not. It’d be like Jon Stewart going to Afghanistan and telling a religious fundamentalist, “We’re still fighting for Sharia law and an end to democracy in the US” and having that person respond, “keep it up! I’m with you.”

This kind of thinking is what got us the terrible systems we have in place today. Think cell phones. As advanced as they have gotten, do we actually have better service? I think not. Cable television, more channels ( uh oh but they took away your favorite but added 25 you won’t watch)
McDonald’s used to be the cheapest fast food around, now they are on par with everyone else. Gross and I have to pay more to eat it!
More people need to complain (in a structured fashion) about things so they actually get better. Whether we are talking national healthcare or subsidized fast food we all suffer in one way or other.
