I can’t believe I’m going to have to come to **SA** ’s defense here. If pressed (and he has time), I’m sure he’ll say we’ve got it all wrong; he’s for women having have sex with underaged boys but _not_ the other way around (men having sex with underage girls). 'Cause the former, that’s just _The American Way_. ---

Well, truth be told, my own feelings about that are a bit bass-ackwards. If a man of twenty-five has sex with a girl of fifteen, she is likely a victim. If a woman of twenty five has sex with a boy of fifteen, he got lucky. I’m certainly willing to see the law be equal and non-sexist, but I don’t _really_ feel that way about it. ---

**Starving Artist** – I’m just curious: what would be YOUR reaction if your five-year-old came up to you and asked how babies were made? Would you tell him or her the truth? Or would you say, “you need to wait until you’re older.” How old is “old enough to ‘deal with’\* sex?” Besides, you do realize that if kids don’t learn what sex is from their parents, they’ll definitely hear it from their friends, right? Don’t you think it’s better for kids to hear the facts than garbled nonsense from other kids? Kids aren’t stupid. :dubious: Again, most kids I know were more grossed out – mostly because it meant that MY PARENTS DID THAT!!! EEEEEEEWWWWWW!!! And I have a SISTER!!!
