If you can’t figure out how to stick it in after seeing pictures of full-on penetrative sex . . . from a gynocological camera angle, you’re stupid. Or full of contradictory bullshit.
I’ll leave it as an exercise for the reader to decide which. And yes, it can be both.
I suppose when your premise relies on Palin being correct about something, you start way in the hole. The Death Panels were complete bullshit, made up by “Caribou Barbie”, “The American Mooselinni”, ‘The Iditarod Idiot" ,"the Alaskan Snowbillies’, .The Juneau Jerks", “the Queen of Quit” , The “Quitinator”, who walked away from elected office and responsibility to get as much money as possible. Her credibility is zero.
We shall call this the P.J. O’Rourke Effect. Don’t get me wrong, P.J. has had his truly funny moments. But there’s an inherent contradiction in his writing, which is this: Certain immoral and illegal activities, such as premarital sex or gambling or drugs, are Fun. Even conservatives agree with this (though of course never as openly as P.J. does, especially if they are a pol). But if everyone went around doing them, the Nation Would Certainly Collapse, according to conservative thinking.
How to bridge this problem? There are several main ways of going about it:
Have Fun in private but loudly denounce it in public (aka “Don’t get caught!”): the Jimmy Swaggert method. A great deal of fun, as opposed to Fun, results when the petard is hoist.
Totally ignore the contradiction: the P. J. O’Rourke method. Closely related is the “but both sides are bad” water-muddying. (In his defense, P.J. never claimed conservatives held the moral highroad, but not everyone who tries this defense does.)
Lastly, the Starving Artist method: Fine for me, not for thee. I’m sure SA is going to come in here and explain why it was OK for him to have premarital teenage sex. I guarantee it’s going to contain some variation on “I knew what I was doing”, the implication being that poor kids on welfare do not know what they are doing, and so therefore SA’s Fun was a good thing while the poor kids’ Fun was not.
Well, I’m at least glad SA got to shoot his wad into an “oversexed 20-year-old” then, instead of now, when he shoots his wad all over the BBQ Pit.
Didn’t you see upthread? He said he had an answer, but “you’re not going to like it”. Because it’s going to be stupid as fuck, is what I’m guessing. Hell, even his right-wing board brethren haven’t been backing him up here.
Yup, it’s pretty bad when John Mace and Rand Rover join in the pile on.
Something else that occurred to me, the likelihood that Starving Artist came up with this on his own is slim to none. Basically, an even dumber conservative nut job found this and is spreading it. Sort of like cockroaches, seeing one means there are millions.
Starving Artist was dumb enough to post it here where dozens of non-crazy and non-conservatives called bullshit. But think about all the Conservative Roulette sites where this garbage gets posted and then everyone blows a load in their pants.
Actually, i have trouble recalling the last time that John Mace offered any substantial support to our resident moron.
They might share some opinions on a few political issues, but JM is, it seems to me, not only less conservative than SA (JM has more libertarian leanings, i think), but so much more thoughtful and rational that it’s ridiculous to even compare them. John Mace has been critical of SA on multiple occasions in past threads, too.
Starving Artist is this board’s perfect storm of dishonesty and stupidity; his only real competition, in my opinion, was the late, unlamented milroyj.
It’s less about crazy, and more about JM’s insistence on going counter to which ever the prevailing wind is blowing. To see a bunch of people taking pot-shots at a conservative OP is usually he’s rallying cry to nitpick the fun away. Then cue Bricker to tell us that what ever the hospital did was legal, and that someone, somewhere used a word in a manner not to his liking.
