My prediction: she plays the “being a mother of a special-needs child is a higher calling than Governor” card to explain why she quit and to make anybody who criticizes her anti-motherhodd. ---

I still am having trouble believing she is a journalism major. That last speech was rambling and incoherant. It’s posted on her website. I know she speaks in that funny way, but she writes that way, too. She should get a speech writer. ---

Well, in fairness, the DOJ and White House counsel did a pretty good job insulating W and Cheney from legal action and Congressional subpoenas and the like… but yeahhhhh. I hear she really resigned because the Alaskan Department of Money is having trouble funding necessary state programs. ---

It does betray a naivete about the federal system, but I will cut her a little slack, as she is probably confusing the White House hierarchy with the [Alaska Dept. of Law](http://www.law.state.ak.us/). ---

I guess she means the Justice Department. It sounds like somebody tried to explain the Cabinet to her during the Presidential campaign, and now she vaguely remembers one of the Departments as having something to do with “the law.” She might have understood enough to get that the JD is under Executive jurisdiction, and therefore thinks that if she got into the White House, she could just order the Justice Department to stop all state and federal investigations of her. I find her use of the term “the adversaries,” (evidently some sort of vague, collective reference to anyone who doesn’t revere Sarah palin) interesting. I wonder if she knows that’s meaning of he word “Satan” in Hebrew. She’s totally the type who would believe that she was a force of transcendent good being persecuted by Satan’s minions. She has both the NPD and the simpleminded religiosity to see herself that way.
