–Maybe that trick loses something on TV. I watched him do it on stage in Los Angeles a couple of Decembers ago and thought it was dang good (you’re talking about in the giant “fishbowl,” right?).  
BTW, I also read the Poundstone books and was aware of how many of his tricks were accomplished. It didn’t matter.  
I was fascinated watching him set 'em up and carry 'em off. He’s a showman.
