FYI, for those of you looking for a satisfying salsa with a lot of heat, but not wanting to go through the trouble to make your own, try Mrs. Renfro’s ghost pepper salsa. It’s hot, without sacrificing flavor. Warning: you will shit fire out of your ass after eating this stuff. ---

After my last unsatisfying salsa experience, I closely examined the jar and saw it was made in New York City! Let me tell, Cookie swung for that misstep! ---

Interestingly enough this last weekend I had a really good salsa. They took a simple recipe and added dried chile for heat and fresh tomatos (in addition to the canned stuff) to offset the added heat. I am going to try that next time. ---

Fruit on pizza is a plot to undermine all that is Right and True in the world. I don’t need a birth certificate to know that while pineapple pizzas are undeniably “American” in origin and manufacture, they are diametrically opposed to all that America truly stands for.
