# Saul Bellow's Ravelstein - Wow!

The only literary experience I have had that had the same magnitude for me was reading _The Stranger_ by Camus. _Ravelstein_ had such an incredible tone, both a lightness and a gravity, a portrayal of Ravelstein (Allan Bloom) that was just beyond anything I was prepared for.

Did anybody else love this novel?
