If we’re just throwing theories out there, my money is on the masked men responsible for 99% of abductions in the country: ICE agents. Just because a goon has a government job, doesn’t mean they can’t moonlight as a criminal thug. They probably wouldn’t have any difficulty crossing the Mexican border. ---

I think Savannah will return to her job on the Today show fairly soon. Her family is in New York and the children need their mom. The current investigation is winding down. There’s no way of knowing when. It’s always frustrating when cases like this run out of leads and go cold. I realize the investigation and lab tests will quietly continue. I suppose many thought this would be wrapped up within an hour or so, like any CSI or Law & Order episode. Or that surveillance systems are so sophisticated like they saw in Mission Impossible. The fact that doing this work in the real world is hard and tedious and unpredictable seems to be lost - people (other than the family, of course) want a resolution. ---

All true, but sometimes a lot is going on that isn’t being reported because it might compromise the investigation. It might go cold or they might suddenly announce a big break. ---
