A couple of weeks ago I emailed my brother some photos I had taken at his place over the holidays. When I was over there last night he showed me one of the pics that he wanted me to enlarge and print for him. The quality of the pic was terrible. Apparently AOL saves pics as a type called .ART files, instead of the usual JPEG. The only option that shows up when you save a pic is .ART. Is there a way to save a pic as a Jpeg on AOL? I had the almost the same problem. I was trying to save some pictures from the internet through AOL and Internet Exporer. Both of the browsers would only let me save as an \*.art file. It was driving me crazy, because I could not open the files up with any other programs. What I finally did was go to AOL and save the pics \*.art files from the web. Then opened them up (the \*.art files from the directory that they were saved in) again with AOL. This window came up with the picture and a button near the picture that said SAVE. When I hit this button the picture saved as a JPEG. I was then able to email and send these pictures as JPEGs. Dumb Luck probably.
