# saving posts

I frequently find a post that clearly tells me something I want to refer to in the future. What is the best way to archive these gems for future reference? I am using a Mac, and for the first couple I just did a post-it note on my desktop. But it is getting cluttered and I am forgetting the oldest ones as fast as I save new ones (FIFO-I know). So, how do other people save these important posts?

I put an SDMB folder in Bookmarks.

I bookmark entire threads I want to keep.
If you want to bookmark one post in a thread, click on the number next to the ! in the upper right hand corner. That opens only that post in a separate window, then you can bookmark just that post.
