I was in high school in Culver City when MGM did their big auction of props and costumes. The only thing I wanted was the ruby slippers. They made a tremendous impression on me when I was three-ish and saw the movie for the first time. I understand the sentimental attachment and would have probably kicked in a few bucks for the cause. Not everything has to be for the whole of humanity. ---

Did they ever catch the killer? And her little dog too? Also, not to victim blame, but if you’re seriously allergic to something, it’s probably best to not leave buckets of it lying around your house. ---
