I was in high school in Culver City when MGM did their big auction of props and costumes. The only thing I wanted was the ruby slippers. They made a tremendous impression on me when I was three-ish and saw the movie for the first time. I understand the sentimental attachment and would have probably kicked in a few bucks for the cause.
Not everything has to be for the whole of humanity.
I’m surprised that they caught him. All he had to do was slip them on, click his heels three times and think of somewhere other than home.

Terry Martin, 76, appeared in a Duluth federal courtroom on Friday. He is charged with one count of major artwork theft, accused of stealing the iconic shoes from the Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids back in 2005.

The vicious killer escaped to Kansas, which doesn’t have an extradition treaty with Oz. Much Like OJ, SO set out to find the killer but she met me, became smitten & I’ve been subject to a spell ever since. Unfortunately, I need to know the entire thing to find a reversing spell & so far I only know the first couple of ingredients that she stated as she was mixing in things to her cauldron.
