First of all, that article is from 2013, so not exactl breaking news. Second, the “people” they studied were, specifically, adolescents, who are generally not well-renowned for maturity and healthy decision-making, especially where food is concerned. The title of the paper is in fact “Adolescent Purchasing Behavior at McDonald’s and Subway.” Third, the article is focused on how many calories were purchased, not actually consumed. Fourth, “healthy” is a subjective term. Guys, I was eating Chik-fil-A at the mall (chicken deluxe with extra cheese) and this guy my girlfriend knows walked up. He was giving me the weirdest look. I think he might have a crush on me. He’s kind of a douche and I didn’t want to have to talk to him or anything, so I just sort of waved and giggled and ran off. He keeps sending me creepy texts about how he knows my delicious secret and he’s going to tell my girlfriend unless I make it worth his while. Also he keeps calling me Henry for some reason. Is this some kind of code in the down-low community? What should I do? ---

A situation like this usually leads to murder; then you have this short, shabby detective in a disheveled trench coat wandering around, _Excuse me_-ing and, _One more thing_-ing all over the scene and **nobody** wants that. Especially at Chick-fil-A. ---

This thread has inspired me to come clean. In 1971, a friend of my wife’s saw me buying gas at a Gulf station when they were screwing over Portugese Angola. For 46 years, I’ve had to send $5.00 every month to make sure that I don’t get exposed. I’m tired of this. Starting next year, I’m cutting it to a more reasonable $3.00. ---

Luckily, I’d already thrown away my Chick-Fil-A wrapper when my wife’s Militant Vegan Prayer Partner caught me at the food court. I was kicking my declawed cat into the back seat of my Humvee, but he only cared about where I’d eaten. Luckily, as I found out when he smelled my breath, the Chick-Fil-A Super Chicken smells enough like vomit that he just assumed I was too sick to have eaten anything, and he couldn’t rat me out. ---

I got one when they first came out; the _adult_ woman that served it to me stated that they were just starting to make them & requested that I give her feedback on how it was. It was _waaay_ too thick, as in couldn’t suck it up the straw too thick. I went back up to the counter & told her that. She took it back from me, poured some more milk in & put it back on the mixer. :eek: Now I don’t have any communicable diseases, & if I did, I was getting my own communicable diseases right back but there’s no way the health code, or common sense, lets you take something the customer may have been licking & put it back on the common food prep machinery. :smack: I’m sure it was just that idjit, but scared me for life it did. ---
