**EddyTeddyFreddy! Gorillaman! Marshmallow! Starving Artist** – you are the most generous guy here! **Monstro** , I was on my way to leave your name when I saw your post. My highest hopes are for you. What you see in me is your own potential. Yep! I really mean it! ---
> [@](#): > > And who was that guy who wrote the long and hysterically funny posts about things like cow-proof swimming pool covers and gelding his goat? Master Wang-Ka?
Scyllia? ---
I was just thinking about you and your brother the other day and wondering how you were (both) doing.
I’m a jerk for forgetting to reply to this, but he’s doing really well. He’ll go to Boston next month for a checkup, but hasn’t had any problems. His voice is somewhat better although he refuses to do a lot of exercises - if you assign him work, you can rely on him not to do it - and he’s doing the stuff he’s supposed to be doing at 15. ---
Scyllia?
Yeah, the [cow-proof swimming pool cover](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=373196&highlight=elephant-proof) was **Scylla**. ---

Woo-hoo! Scylla!! Thanks, NajaNivea & jayjay! (& bbs2k too.) I’m off to the search function. (Marley23, great to hear from you again. I’ve been wondering how you & your brother were, too.) ---

You know that **Seattle Doper Trivia** thread that resurfaces in MPSIMS every Tuesday? Well, I’ve been missing trivia since September because of a year-long class that meets Tuesday evenings, so I don’t have a chance to see the following very good people, who are friendly and smart and lots of fun to be around: **stargazer** , **Interrobang!?** , **Aguecheek** , **Cervaise** , **Saltire** , **inkysplotchy** , **amarinth** , and the other occasional participants. Good fellows all. ---
We have been trying to get another Dopefest together, but apparently it’s like herding cats. ..stupid cats…
Herding cats is highly over-rated on the scale of things that are difficult to do. 😃 I herd my three all the time. Herd 'em out of the bedroom, herd 'em out the door… They get used to it after a while. Now, herding _Dopers_! THAT’s difficult. 😛 ---
