[This thread in the Pit](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=107277) got me thinking about a more MPSIMS-friendly form of discourse…words that you say in place of, well, less savoury words. You’ve heard them all your lives–in network-TV versions of R-rated movies, on Bill Cosby albums, and in junior high gym class when you get hit in the gonads while playing dodgeball! (Well, at my junior high at least.) Now you can enshrine your favourites here on the Board! I’ll start off: “Oh, Sheboygan!” “Son of a plumber!” “Ugly mahucker!” “Gol darnit!” “Fuggit!” My favourite, credit _The State_: “They gave my job to fudge-puckin’ nickel-pickers!” ---

A&E was airing the movie Repo Man, and they replaced the F’enheimer with Flip. “Flip you Archie, you’re out of the gang now!” There were quite a few “Flips” in that movie. It’s one of the few movies that is a toss up for me, whether I like it cut, or uncut better. rubes ---

Unless you grew up in that town I’m not sure you can realize the full depth of that one. 😉 “Froak” is a favorite of mine; came from when I played EverQuest and fighting frog-men opponents who would, besides the sound effects of ribbiting, have a text message when they attacked that included “Froooaakk!” Players would use that euphemism on message boards that didn’t allow swearing. ---
