I’m for keeping both the victim’s and the accused’s names under wraps until there’s been a conviction. Then, I still think the victim should be given the option of remaining secret. But I’ve noticed that many women (which is a far cry from a little 9-year-old) are going public in an effort to remove the veil of shame that surrounds rape. If that’s their choice, more power to 'em. I think it’s a great idea. I fully understand that not everyone wants to be a crusader though.
