Looks like it’s nearly time for me to make the same damn video again, telling people that, no, a 2tb USB stick for $10 is not genuine and just plugging it into your computer and clicking ‘properties’ is not a useful test. I think this will be the fourth (maybe fifth) time I will have made this PSA. After a year or so passes, people start commenting ‘crazy to think these things are now available and really cheap’ . No, they are not. Still not yet - they exist, but a 2tb USB stick for $10 is still a scam in 2024. ---

I tried flipping the script on military scammer once, I told them I was in a secret division that handled lots of cash and that my official title was Adjunct Special Service Warlord Incentive Payment Executor. I had accumulated millions in secret cash in my tenure as an A.S.S.W.I.P.E and I knew someone who could help me smuggle it to the USA so I could fufill my dream of investing in crypto, but they needed a $100 Amazon gift card that I was unable to buy. I always get carried away and move too fast, I never heard back from them. ---

How about telling her to go ahead and claim the money and then to send you a small amount (say $5,000) so you can buy an airline ticket to meet her someplace? In other words, reverse the usual game. ---
