# Scam (Internet and Otherwise) Omnibus Thread

Somebody has started using [ssa.org](http://ssa.org) to impersonate the Social Security Administration ([ssa.gov](http://ssa.gov)).

“Download Now” points to something called ptdirgatunasmandiri dot com, which redirects to some site in Spain and downloads a .exe disguised as a .pdf. I deleted the file right after seeing what it really was and the real SSA has been notified.
