How are you? How is the weather? This morning started with heavy rain and wind, so I had to call a taxi to get to work, but I was a little late. However, my mood is, as always, good! How did your day start?
I want to share with you how my typical day goes! My working day starts at 7 am and ends around 7 pm. Sometimes I have to stay late because the children do not go home immediately after classes, which last from 8 am to 12 pm. Together with them, we do homework, play sports or do creative work - for example, embroidery or wood crafts. This is necessary so that the children are always under supervision while their parents are working. Also,
on some days, with other teachers, we go to the countryside, where we help children learn by telling them about different topics in the subjects, we conduct creative activities such as drawing, modeling from plasticine.As for the days off, I only have one - Sunday. You probably know that teachers work even during the holidays, when students are resting. We prepare the school for the new academic year: paint the walls, buy textbooks, keep the classrooms in order and, if necessary, repair them. So I am a real jack of all trades (Hihihi).
I don’t live as close to work as I would like. If I go on foot, the journey takes a long time, so I usually take a bus or a taxi. The trip takes about 10-15 minutes, but taxis can be expensive, so I only use them as a last resort - when I’m late or the weather is really bad.
After work, I come home, cook dinner, take a shower and relax by watching TV or reading books. I go to the gym twice a week. I usually go to bed around 10:30-11:00 pm. On weekends I like to go shopping, visit my mother or spend time with my sister, helping her with the kids. My sister’s name is Gulnara, she has two children - a son Aslan, he is 6 years old, and a daughter Emilia, she is 4 years old. I love spending time with my nephews. To start with, I’m frankly appalled that you not only have to buy the textbooks but you have to clean and maintain the school. Is this an unusually small and remote school?
Here in the States, the schools are organized into districts and funded by (mainly) property taxes, books and supplies are purchased by the district and the buildings are cleaned and maintained by the custodial staff.
Do any of the parents chip in with money or help out?
Here, it’s a 5 day week(M-F) and the only work the teachers do outside of classroom hours is such things as recording grades, writing lesson plans and other paperwork.
As for my daily life, I ride my bike or(if the weather is bad), I’ll ride a stationary bike or a rowing machine.

I’m not much of a cook, I’ll have oatmeal and eggs for breakfast, peanut butter sandwich for lunch and whatever stew I have frozen portions of. I also keep fruit around for snacks.
On Saturday, i always make myself a hamburger and french fries and have a beer.

The advance fee/financial scammers I’ve always claimed to have a severe speech impediment. They’ve never pushed the issue.

Yes I am well aware that it is almost all likely AI-generated in this day and age, but the yawning gap between said flowery sentiments and the greedy and totally amoral asshole behind it would at some point make them wonder if it is all worth it, you would think. As in, “I wonder what my life would be like if I were to actually live these ideals, vs. using them purely to scam some geezer out of his life savings?”

To those that block phone scammers: How long did it take before it worked to your satisfaction?
Sofi has specifically stated she’s in Russia and the time zone in the email header bears it out(yeah, I know, VPNs and such). Marina claims Kazakhstan which is +5 while the headers show +3 (same as Sofi).
I don’t know how difficult or expensive a phone call would be.

I turned on “Silence Unknown Callers” on my iPhone, and now I never have the phone ring for a scammer. The only issue is when I’m expecting a call from someone who isn’t a current contact - I have to either watch the phone closely, or tell them to leave a message.
Really, a small price to pay.
