# Scandalous Jujube flavors

I came across a website that sells Jujubes, the popular candy of my youth. Either some prankster messed with the description, or Jujubes have gone all hipster on us. _Lilac_??? _Violet_??? What kind of heresy is this? Were Jujubes always those flavors, and I just didn’t notice? Otherwise, what’s next, lavender-flavored Bazooka bubble gum? Cilantro Popsicles?

Hmph.

Yep. It’s not hipsterdom, rather it’s grandma’s candy, reaching back to 1920 and as a class of candies to the 18th century.

A great gag would be Swedish fish that are tuna/sardine flavored. Heh.
