# Scanning and Text Recognition with tables and math equations.

Anybody have any experience with converting scanned papers to a word document? The papers contain a lot of numbers, tables and math equations and are printed on different colored paper. I’ve been trying to use Acrobat Pro DC because it’s all I have access too. I’d be willing to invest some money in another program I know it’s going to work.

The problems I’m having are:

The colored paper is giving the images a grey scale that gets imbedded as an image.

The tables are incomplete or are treated as an image rather than a table with text.

Large portions of the math equations are not recognized. Symbols, special characters, sub and superscripts, summation, square root…ect

Any help would be great, Thanks
