I’ve recently discovered that Sports Illustrated has an [online archive](http://vault.sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/cover/home/index.htm) where you can view scans of old issues, complete with photos and ads (click on the “view this issue” link under the cover thumbnail). Seems every issue of SI more than about a dozen years old is available for viewing.

Are there any other magazines that offer similar archives? I know of some that have the text of old articles online, but not the graphics. Time magazine, for example, has all their covers and the article text but no pictures, which is annoying when you’re reading an article and it refers you to an accompanying chart or something. Plus, it’s interesting to look at all the old ads.

Google Book Search includes magazines too.

Like this [one](http://books.google.com/books?id=fz0ymWEOyowC&printsec=frontcover&source=gbs_summary_r&cad=0_0) from 1973. Wow, a phone you can take along with you

No one would be interested in seeing [Mad Magazine Covers](http://www.collectmad.com/madcoversite/index-covers.html) would they? 😃
