# Scared to death

I read the article “scared to death” and was immediately reminded of a very recent occurance. During the finale of spike TV’s “the ultimate fighter” a fighter named brad imes was fighting, and his mother, Carolyn Imes, was in attendance.

The camera would sometimes show her, and she was extremely excited and was standing and cheering a lot, but the fight was a brutal 15 minute fight, and she died the next day of a heart attack. It’s unfortuante, but I’d say that the nature of the fight played a role in her death…
