For me it would be a toss-up between buried alive in a coffin and treading water in the middle of the ocean. Both would pretty much mean you were going to die and there was nothing you could do to save yourself. The ocean would be worse because you’d keep trying to tread water to stay alive plus you’d have to worry about getting eaten by a shark. The coffin would be worse becuase you couldn’t even make an effort to keep yourself alive longer and you’d lack a ready means of killing yourself if you decided to end it all.
