You can add me to a lot of these, especially the Death Coach in Darby O’Gill. For me the scariest scene of E.T. was when they found him at the base of the waterfall, all pink & shriveled. No, he was not cute, he was appalling. Yuck. ---

They couldn’t see him and one bird got so frightened she couldn’t stand it and burst from her hiding place…only to be shot dead by the Evil Hunter. I also remember being petrified of the huge forest fire…scared that all the animals and birds wouldn’t make before the fire consumed them. Thinking how they lost their homes and probably a few friends and family members too. ---
